Discipleship on the Ground

It has been great to see our close friend, and guy we have been discipling, draw closer to God and grow in his faith. Every week, as he shares life struggles with us, we have spent time pointing him back to the Book, and showing him how to find guidance directly from God through the Word. We have spent many hours sharing meals with him and his family. And have had many times of reading and praying together. It has been a difficult road he has walked over the past few years, and has caused himself and our family much heartache. Yet we can see God's faithful hand upon his life. And it is a joy to see him sharing openly with his wife,  reading the Book with his friends and discipling them, and joining in with greater boldness in abundant Gspl sowing. We continue to encourage him to step out in obedience, and join us during times of intentional sharing and praying with those in our city. And we spend time each week encouraging and steering him in how best to share with the group of friends and family he meets with. Sharing together in life's joys and struggles has allowed us to hopefully always be pointing him towards God's love and grace.
