Historically we have placed a lot of emphasis on training the “goers”, as we should. But what about the “senders”? Senders U is a training for those of us God has called to go by sending. In the Great Commission, Jesus gave a command to all of us to go. There are not “goers” and “stayers.” Come and learn with us about our journey to the finish line. This is OUR journey. Let’s learn how to go well together.

The outline of this training is adapted from a phrase in the US Marine Corps training manual, “Beans, Bullets, and Bandages”.

• Beans – What training and supplies do goers need to be most effective? Should senders be similarly equipped?

• Bullets – Not real bullets, of course! But, the enemy is real. So, how do we develop a wartime mentality and make strategic decisions in this battle we’re waging? How do we pray for our “troops” and the unreached among which they are working according to the heart and mind of God?

• Bandages – How do we take care of one another – goers and senders alike – so we will all thrive? How do we promote health and strength for body, mind and soul? How can we properly respond when one of our own is wounded?

Cost per individual is $10/ person ($30 cap per family).
Childcare is free and available for children 10 years old and under (limited spots available).
