Description:
Are you passionate about the Great Commission? Do you love seeing people getting to know Jesus? Have you ever dreamed about being a missionary, but are just not able to leave your city and country?
We have good news: Missions is coming to you. The world is seeing a continuous increase of migration. And there are people from many foreign nations in your city too. Reaching out to migrants is an adventure. You give, but you also receive. You will make new friends, learn more about the world, understand different perspectives, receive happy smiles and enjoy great food.
You think that it's difficult to do? This workshop will discuss challenges and practical solutions, including things that are helpful and others not so helpful. We can partner with God's global heart. He's moving through the nations! It's time to step in and be a part!
We are living in unprecedented times, aren't we? We should be thrilled to see God's global heart so meticulously and strategically orchestrating events (just as He has been doing since the beginning). This roundtable session will stop to consider the big global stage God is developing. He is the main actor in this large scale drama. Jesus is the main one and we are the support team. At His invitation and leading, we get to partner with Him as He uses all of our world events and nations and countries to bring individuals face to face with Him. He is wooing our world like never before! It is ultimately His loving invitation to follow Him and scripture says every nation and tribe will worship Him one day. So, rather than get wrapped up in the struggle because we see or experience injustices, what if there is a bigger picture unfolding. God really wants partners who will set aside their opinions in order to see His view. He's asking us to come up higher. The view is worth it, friends! To see how He sees and to help Him receive the full reward of His suffering will be worth it!
Led/facilitated by All Nations International Leadership Team Member Dr. Juergen Kramer and guests Michael Hoffman and Kathy Giske.
Roundtable Leaders:
Dr. Juergen Kramer: Juergen lives in Hamburg and is leading the work of All Nations in Europe. He is a church planter as well as a successful businessman, who leads his own consulting practice for senior business leaders. He has supported missions work in many countries around the globe through visits, training and coaching since 2003.
2015 became a year of a new focus. The immense influx of Muslim refugees to Germany created the opportunity and need for developing a focused missional team that has planted churches among various unreached people groups in the diaspora. Juergen holds a M.A. and a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Hamburg, Germany He is married to Monika, and they have two daughters and three grandsons.
Michael Hoffman: Michael is serving with Novo International Missions and working concurrently for a wealth brokerage firm. He sees value in using media as a ministry tool. Creating videos and social media messaging are several methods to reach individuals beyond borders with the Gospel. As a result of this interest to use media, he has been an active team member with "Media To Movements" which communicates online to diaspora groups. Some of the groups include the Bosnian population in the American Midwest and throughout Germany to refugees from a variety of Middle Eastern countries. He is married with two teenage kids and one very spoiled, sweet black labrador.
Kathy Giske: Kathy Giske is a Middle East specialist, and Director of Middle East Partners at ministry whose mission is to bring hope to the people of the Middle East through partnership and leadership development. For over 20 years she has worked as an advocate of the church in Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Egypt, Syria, the Holy Land, and of the refugee Diaspora in Europe.
Kathy’s career began serving with the Australian Embassy in trade relations in Israel, Turkey, Cyprus, and Greece. She has also served as an international program director with World Vision International where she travelled extensively throughout Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Middle East to work with Christian leaders.
In 2015 Kathy lost her husband Steve Giske to brain cancer. She lives in Seattle, Washington and is a member at University Presbyterian Church.

What is Mission’s Edge?
If you or someone you know has a heart to see increased fruit in their ministries and missions endeavors, this is a wonderful opportunity to learn among ministry and missions leaders! In 2023, we are changing our online gatherings to this year and we are focusing on strategic conversations around finding the best ways to work together to fulfill the Great Commission. A part of our dialogue each quarter will dive into how to best help us all to partner well. We know believers, ministries, and churches have a unique role in helping to raise up and equip and support current and future generations of missionaries that will go to the places where the name of Jesus is not yet known. We know you will be blessed and we will be blessed by your participation!
