Our Next 2025 Mission's Edge Roundtable Session
Sept. 16, 2025

Making Disciples Right Where You Are:
When is a good time to talk about spiritual things?

Tues., Sept. 16, 2025
12 Noon CT (US) | 1 PM ET

Roundtable Description:
In this next session we will discuss how to always be prepared to sow, yet applying wisdom in each scenario and to be sensitive to the leading of the Spirit as well as the person in front of us. How do I gain the trust of the person I am walking with, and how can I make sure that what I share will be taken to heart? What kind of factors could I take into consideration as I start sharing and how do I progress into spiritual conversation? We should not allow any of these questions to prevent us from reaching out to someone, rather they can help us to prepare our minds and hearts to build trusting relationships through which we can share the truth more effectively on our journey in making disciples of Jesus.

Bios:

Adele Heyns, Roundtable Leader
Adele and her husband, Michael, are South Africans serving in the All Nations Hamburg team since 2017. They have a passion to see the Arab nations find healing and salvation in Jesus and to see leaders raised from the younger generation to form communities where Jesus is worshipped. They organize discovery groups and gatherings, mentoring young people, and helping them to integrate in Germany. Adele and Michael have three sons and a married daughter and son-in-law living with them in Hamburg. Their family has grown over the years to include many young people from different cultures.

Cindy Anderson
Cynthia Anderson (along with her husband Todd) has been serving as a missionary with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in Asia for the past 31 years. The first 10 years of their ministry was spent as church planters and Frontier Missions leaders in the Himalayan kingdom of Nepal. When they left Nepal in 2001, they had seen over 40 Nepalese church planters raised up and many churches established in new areas. The first church they helped begin has grown into a movement with over 2000 members in an area that was previously unreached. After Nepal, they spent 14 years in India. The Andersons continued to be involved in church planting and training as well as mobilizing hundreds of NE Indian Christians into missions. In 2010, Cynthia was appointed as the Frontier Missions Director for YWAM in South Asia. This regional position involved providing leadership to YWAM's Frontier Mission's area leaders and over 450 church-planting staff throughout the region. In 2018, she handed over this role to an Indian leader she had mentored and trained. In light of that transition, the Andersons moved to Thailand to continue to serve Asia and other parts of the world. Cynthia next served as the International Strategic Projects Coordinator for YWAM Frontier Missions. In 2019 she launched an Online Course called Getting Started in Disciple-Making Movements, which has trained over 1,300 students and resulted in hundreds of new disciples and churches among the unreached. In 2021, she pioneered a new entity called Disciple Makers Increase (DMI) which creates online courses, community, and coaching for people around the world involved in missions, disciple-making, and church planting.

Tami Martin
Tami and her husband Trent are missionaries with All Nations working mainly in Europe, specifically Germany. They started their missionary work in 2014 and lived in Hamburg, Germany full-time for three years and then began traveling annually between America and Germany. They’ve worked with Afghan, Iraqi, Iranian and Syrian refugees, starting house churches and discipling several of these individuals. As a result, a traditional weekly church began in 2016 that is vibrant and growing to this day. Trent and Tami have been married 33 years, they have two children and six grandchildren.

What is Mission’s Edge?

If you or someone you know has a heart to see increased fruit in their ministries and missions endeavors, this is a wonderful opportunity to learn among ministry and missions leaders! In 2023, we changed our online gatherings to focus on strategic conversations around finding the best ways to work together to fulfill the Great Commission. A part of our dialogues in each roundtable will dive into how to best help us all partner well with the Lord in what He is already doing! We know believers, ministries, and churches have a unique role in helping to raise up and equip and support current and future generations of missionaries that will go to the places where the name of Jesus is not yet known. We know you will be blessed and we will be blessed by your participation!
