Making Disciples Right Where You Are:
Building Relationships with People of a Different Culture

Tues., March 18, 2025
12 Noon CT (US) | 1 PM ET

Bios:
Tami Martin, Roundtable Leader
Tami and her husband Trent are missionaries with All Nations working mainly in Europe, specifically Germany. They started their missionary work in 2014 and lived in Hamburg, Germany full-time for three years and then began traveling annually between America and Germany. They’ve worked with Afghan, Iraqi, Iranian and Syrian refugees, starting house churches and discipling several of these individuals. As a result, a traditional weekly church began in 2016 that is vibrant and growing to this day. Trent and Tami have been married 33 years, they have two children and six grandchildren.

Lynn Brown
Lynn is the founder and former director of the Vineyard College of Mission's Love Justice School. Intimacy with God is her passion and she finds joy encouraging others in their faith using her education and experience in member care, Biblical counseling, trauma care, spiritual direction, and prayer. She has been involved with refugee resettlement and anti-human trafficking and currently ministers to inmates at the ADA County Jail.

Aaron Myers
Aaron is director of digital outreach for Crescent Project, a global organization based in Nashville, Tennessee. He and his family live in South Dakota and have served in Central Asia. He now leads Crescent Project’s Embassy ministry and equip and mobilize the laity of the local church into one-on-one, online relationships with Muslims who have learned to speak English and are looking for friendship and connection.

Pastor John Gundacker
Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, Pastor John and his wife, Maria, have pastored Pahrump, NV-based Calvary Chapel Church since 2000. The church began as a Bible study and God has used their lives to glorify Him. Our motto is: “Come as you are and allow God to do the work of restoration needed in your life."

2025 Theme: Making Disciples Right Where You Are!

Why is this important? Our last roundtable in 2024 was one of our greatest attended sessions and it highlighted the hunger people have for learning how to love and disciple in our own communities among people of other cultures, including immigrants. We hope you'll spread the word to your family, friends, pastors, and ministry partners so everyone can make plans to learn and grow as we continue bridging missions and ministry efforts across our world!

What is Mission’s Edge?

If you or someone you know has a heart to see increased fruit in their ministries and missions endeavors, this is a wonderful opportunity to learn among ministry and missions leaders! In 2023, we are changing our online gatherings to this year and we are focusing on strategic conversations around finding the best ways to work together to fulfill the Great Commission. A part of our dialogue each quarter will dive into how to best help us all to partner well. We know believers, ministries, and churches have a unique role in helping to raise up and equip and support current and future generations of missionaries that will go to the places where the name of Jesus is not yet known. We know you will be blessed and we will be blessed by your participation!
