Year of Worship August

  • All Nations International, Inc. PO Box 901253 Kansas City, MO 64190 USA (map)

Our Year of Worship series raises awareness of and includes an online global prayer time for a neglected people group each month. Neglected people, whether the one sheep or the multitude, are considered among...

~the Least because they are marginalized by society and/or circumstances.

~the Last because they have yet to hear and receive the Good News.

~the Lost because the Gospel has had no access, limited access or has been misrepresented.

For August, our focus is the Padhar People of India. The Padhar are primarily agricultural laborers, who raise goats, feed cattle and work as commercial fishermen and trappers. They have predominantly practiced Hinduism and polytheistic idol worship. Many are illiterate with little to no education.

Among those in India served and loved by All Nations’ fieldworkers is a remote group of Padhar. More than 1,500 families have heard the Gospel and about 600 have taken steps of obedience to follow Jesus. Through relationships, indigenous leadership have begun regular worship gatherings on their own. Currently, team members continue to stay in contact with the Padhar group remotely to pray and encourage them in their faith to rely on God with concerns or doubts they may have.

Please join us in praying for the Padhar People and the All Nations team in India working among the people group on August 26 at 8 AM CDT (US), 3 PM Hamburg, 3 PM Cape Town, 4 PM Kampala, and 9 PM Taipei for our Neglected Peoples Prayer time (the last Thursday of each month). All are welcome!
