October Mission's Edge Roundtable Session:
"When Leaders Drink Tea Together"

Description:
It all starts by drinking tea together! This pressing issue of "how leaders from diverse cultures meaningfully collaborate" is one that many pay lip service to, but very few adequately address. This panel discusses how leaders from diverse backgrounds can truly collaborate so that all voices and viewpoints are represented in this global century, as the Gospel explodes across borders and nations converge in our cities. The panel is based on Dr. Mary Ho's article, "When Leaders Drink Tea Together: A Critique of Western Christian Leadership in Light of Global Trends."

Featuring:

Dr. Mary Ho is the International Executive Leader of All Nations International. She received her Doctor of Strategic Leadership from Virginia-based Regent University. She is married and has two sons.

Dr. Todd M. Johnson is a professor and Co-Director of the Center for the Study of Global Christianity at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He received his Ph.D. from William Carey International University.

Dr. Jacob Igba fulfills the role of Africa Inland Mission’s Southern Africa Mobilizer and is on the executive leadership team of Global Mobilization Network, along with teaching and mentoring at Mukhanyo Theological College as a Senior Lecturer. He holds a Ph.D. from North-West University. He is an alumnus of the Africa Doctoral Academy of Stellenbosch University, South Africa.

Dr. Mary Ho's article was published by the Lausanne Global Analysis in September 2021 and is available here.

WHAT IS MISSION'S EDGE?

If you or someone you know has a heart to see increased fruit in their ministries and missions endeavors, this is a wonderful opportunity to learn among ministry and missions leaders! In All Nations we have walked difficult paths, wrestled with many core issues of our faith life and we are still digging to find the heart of God in many matters. These life and ministry experiences paved the way to authoring and speaking. In 2021, our team serving in many places around the world would like to share some of these books, articles and published efforts. We know you will be blessed and we will be blessed by you!

We gather for one hour each month and discuss important topics that will help us all learn and grow -- topics that impact how we minister and where ministry and missions takes us as we express and expand the Kingdom of Heaven here on earth!
