Global Prayer for the Neglected: Ndau of Southeast Africa

October 26, 2023

All Nations International held its monthly prayer for the unreached and the neglected on October 26, 2023 (the last Thursday of the month.) This Global Prayer for the Neglected featured Ndau of Southeast Africa. To learn more or to join our next global prayer, visit: https://allnations.international/neglectedpeople.

The Ndau are known for being herbalists and skilled in black magic. Many fear their curses. They live in very rural parts of Mozambique where the Mozambican National Resistance (RENAMO) rebel groups have always lived. They are considered engaged with the Gospel but unreached. Most of the Christians are outsiders who prefer living in nearby cities.

Since July 2023, All Nations’ fieldworker Raymond* and his team have been building relationships with the Ndau. They are focusing on evangelism, discipleship and business initiatives for self-sustainability. Their hope and vision are to see total spiritual transformation, disciples being made, churches and businesses planted, and church movements ignited.
