Erik Fish Joins All Nations International as Global Disciple Making Movement Catalyst

Nov. 30, 2021

The All Nations International Leadership Team (ILT) is thrilled to announce that this December, we are commissioning Erik Fish to officially join All Nations as "Global Disciple Making Movement Catalyst” to inspire, encourage, and be a resource to our people globally to ignite Kingdom movements among the neglected! Erik has been a dear friend to many of us and has been serving as a board member for the ANKC hub and training our people for many years. Erik will be commissioned by All Nations International Leadership Team on Tues., Dec. 7, 2021.

We can’t wait for you to meet Erik in-person either again or for the first time! Below you get to hear directly from Erik sharing from his heart! I love what his close friend, Dr. Pam Arlund who has shaped his ministry and calling, says about Erik:

Erik is more gifted than anyone I know in helping people to discover Jesus. He truly weeps over those who are far from the Kingdom, and people sense this from Him when they are near him. He has been anointed to reach out to New Agers, First Nations peoples, college students, and neglected people groups around the world. When these people meet Erik, they sense the love of Jesus for them and often respond positively to Jesus for the first time. Erik is truly an anointed evangelist, walking in the power of the Holy Spirit. In addition to Erik’s gifting, I truly enjoy and value Erik’s friendship these many years and am happy for more people in All Nations to also have the chance to meet him.”

Let us all welcome Erik!

Reaching the neglected globally -- the least, the last, and the lost

I never imagined how powerful tears shed at a coffee shop could be. It was 15 years ago when I first met Floyd McClung. He was a great encouragement to me.

He suggested I meet with Pam Arlund. When I met Pam, I felt alone and so afraid. I was a successful performer in the American church system. I'd made some disciples. I'd communicated the gospel to people, but I was frustrated. I was dreaming of movements, but I didn't have language or understanding to describe what I was dreaming about.

I was "successful" in ministry, but I didn't feel like I was actually following Jesus. When I told Pam what I was really dreaming of, she said, "Erik, you can totally do this. And I'm here to support you and be your friend." While she said this to me, tears fell down her face. This started a lifelong friendship.

Two years later, Pam and I were coaching a team of college students who had recently met Jesus and were somehow trekking through the Himalayan mountains engaging an unreached people group. One of the leaders of this group had just met Jesus less than a year prior. Throughout the next few years, thousands of people would be trained. I began traveling with my family and eventually touched down in every state in America, as well as many nations.

Along the way, I was adopted into a Native American Tribe. My heart beats for the mission of Jesus to see ALL people know how much God loves them. And to love each other as we heal cycles of generational trauma and systemic injustice.

I've known Dr. Mary Ho for many years, viewing her with great respect and admiration, and supporting her anyway I could. When Floyd McClung died, I felt a stirring in my spirit. A strange sense of even deeper connection with the heart of Jesus for the world. At his Celebration of Life service this summer, as Holy Spirit inspired, tears fell down my face and I thought, "I'm home. His legacy is my legacy. All Nations is my tribe. I want to give my life for what really matters in eternity."

I talked with Mary about this. Now, here I am, linking up in an "official" way with everyone in All Nations. I love helping people discover who Jesus is and how He loves them - right where they are -- in their sin, brokenness, and hang-ups. I love helping people follow Jesus in ways that bring blessing to their families, their culture, their businesses, and their ethnic groups.

I love dreaming, helping, and daring apostolic leaders to move toward the deepest desires of their hearts - and being there as a friend whether things go well or if things completely fall apart. Usually, there will be no innovation and breakthrough without lots of failures. I get this, because I have lived it.

For me, the way of Jesus is not about assimilating into a "Christian Religion." It's about discovering the genuine character of God and how much He genuinely likes us, loves us, and cares for the world. Being a people devoted to living out His love in the world in every dimension and sphere is what He desires.

This is my life-long pursuit. I feel honored to join the family of All Nations in an official way. I'm here to serve you and bless you to pursue the things you dream about with Jesus. All things are possible, and I'm offering myself to serve you toward stepping into those dreams.
