Light of the World - Shadows of Christ (Part 1)

God has hidden His Son among the nations. His light is casting shadows in places where the revelation of Christ is yet to unfold. Do you see the shadows of Christ among your people? As Jesus is ‘lifted up’ He will draw all nations unto Himself. (John 12:32) The Good News is Jesus. He is the light of the world. (Luke 2:29-32)

WHO IS FOR US

Everything changed for us as we began to see Christ within the language and culture. Roland Allen says, “We seek a revelation of Christ. It is the unfolding of a Person. Revelation is not the creation of something that is new, but the unfolding of what is already there.” It is our job to point the nations towards Jesus by revealing His witness among them. God is already there!

WHO IS AGAINST US

The revelation of Christ is another gem and offensive weapon of our spiritual warfare. When Christ is revealed, there will be two reactions: 1) Jesus will be lifted up and draw people to Himself, and 2) Satan and his demonic forces will be in opposition. As our faith rests in the revelation of Christ, we do not need to fear the demonic opposition. Christ is the rock of our Salvation. Like Peter, we can be transformed from a reed to a rock.

PRAYER FOR SPIRITUAL BREAKTHROUGH

Father God, pour out Your Spirit and bring a revelation of Jesus among all nations!  We join the Holy Spirit in the privilege of sharing this Good News among the least, the last, and the lost.  In Jesus’ name, Amen!
