High Holidays in the Bible
The holiest day of the year is Yom Kippur, the day of Atonement. This year Yom Kippur is Friday, Oct. 3.
Atonement is mentioned over 80x in the Bible. The meaning is to cover, purge, or make reconciliation. (H3722 in Strong's) Blood is always required for the cleansing.
Zacharias visitation from the angel Gabriel announcing John the Baptist is believed to have been on Yom Kippur. The custom on Yom Kippur is for people to fast and meditate on the past year....to repent (turn the other direction) and ask forgiveness, to forgive others, to help the poor, to choose to live the next year more aligned with Scripture and sometimes to immerse in a pool or river to affect purity, which is called a mikvah. This is why no one questioned why John the Baptist was baptizing......because they knew is was a mikvah for cleansing.
Right now I'm in SC doing IV vitamin C and other IV's about 8 each week on 4 days. I've been water fasting and eating keto so cancer cells don't have any fuel. I'm on 15 supplements 5 before and 10 during a meal. Somedays I eat 1 meal, other days 2. I try to walk a bit after each meal. I feel like I am getting healthier, especially the inflammation in my gut and knees has decreased. I can't really feel the cancer yet but will get more tests the end of Oct.
I spend much of my time worshipping. 3 John 2, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers."
I continue to be overwhelmed with gratefulness at the kindness of the Lord through so many of you! I literally can feel your prayer for me! It is such a demonstration of His goodness as I feel Him carrying me through your prayer! I am also speechless (which doesn't happen often, so take advantage!!!) at the incredible generosity you have shown to me! I am truly grateful beyond words! Thank you! Thank you!! Thank you!!!
