The Spirit of Truth
I was talking to a young woman at the tea bar with another team when a guy barged in and said, “I want a Spiritual Reading.” The young woman responded excitedly, “Oh my gosh! I can pull your cards. I’m a clairvoyant and I would love to give you a reading.” Then, she started explaining that her grandma was a witch and her mom was a witch and that she “would love to share!” Initially I thought, “Oh no, this girl is going to try to read tarot cards in my camp.” But, at the same time, I saw that she was operating in a spirit of humility and she just wanted to help. She then turned to me, honored me in the space, and asked, “Can I pull some cards here? I would love for you to witness it!”
I felt in my spirit that it was okay to allow her to do it. She then said, “You can give a reading too.” I responded, “Yeah I can. Maybe after you? I don’t actually use cards to give readings, I just talk to the Spirit of Truth.” She said, “Oh my gosh, that's so hard to do! How do you do that?” I said, “We can sit down and we can learn together.”
We sat down and took a moment to invite in the Spirit of Truth to speak to us and open our hearts to receive. The girl then pulled her cards and started visibly shaking. She was struck by the message that came through the cards. The message was that this man was a pure channel from God. He was very pure and very powerful.
The man said, “Oh this makes sense!” Then, he starts quoting Jesus as to why it makes sense. He also shares some of his experiences from Ayahuasca… But that opened up the door for me to talk about God, Jesus, and His messages.
I then ministered to the tarot card reader. She had a spiritual teacher who she had made agreements with and had her in bondage. I explained God’s authority and how to have God’s authority over your life. She then invited God to be the authority in her life.
