Joining God's Work

At Urbana, I (Phil) had the opportunity to meet with an incredible young woman, Mary* (pseudonym for security.) She is about to graduate from university with a degree in Central Asian studies and is fluent in Farsi. Even more striking—when she was just twelve years old, the Lord gave her a dream that she would one day minister to Persian people. That dream has quietly shaped her entire life.

She grew up as a missionary kid in a big country in the East (where we used to live), and now, as she prepares to graduate in May, she is continuing to ask the Lord what her next step should be. As we talked, she shared that she feels deeply passionate about church planting, pastoral care, and serving in Central Asia, and then asked if All Nations is about any of those things.

Oh boy… are we ever! 😄🔥

Moments like this remind us why we do what we do. God is already at work—calling, preparing, and stirring hearts long before people ever hear about All Nations. Our joy is simply to come alongside what He’s already doing.

At All Nations, we train, equip, send, and care for workers who are called to hard places to do hard things—because Jesus is worth it. 🌍💛 We’re excited to continue walking with people like her as they discern God’s timing and next steps.
